To adhere to DVLA laws you must provide documents after purchasing a number plate. Once we have received this documentation we can process and dispatch your order quickly.

We require 2 forms of documentation: 

1. Proof of identification:

• Driving Licence
• Utility Bill (electricity, water or landline)
• Council Tax Bill (issued within the last 6 months)
• Bank or Building Society Statement (issued within the last 6 months)
• A National Identity Card (issued by the government) 

1. Proof of entitlement to the number plate (the plate does not have to be in your name, e.g. you can but for a partner, but the document is required)

• Vehicle Registration Certificate (V5C)
• New Keeper's Details Section (V5C/2) of the V5C
• Certificate of Entitlement (V750)
• Retention Document (V778)
• Tax Reminder or SORN Reminder (V11 or V11(NI))
• Temporary Registration Certificate (V379)
• Number Plate Authorisation Certificate (V948/EV948) with Official DVLA Stamp
• A letter of authorisation from a fleet operator, lease company or hire company - letter must quote the document reference number from V5C
